Three challenges we solve

(01)

Guests decide from reviews and AI answers

The shortlist forms on maps and in AI chats long before anyone sees your lobby. So visibility has to be engineered: steady reviews, live profiles, and the signals AI systems read.

81%

of travelers read reviews before booking a place to stay Tripadvisor × Ipsos

and 4 in 10 already plan trips with AI (source)

(02)

Experiences outsell things

Guests spend on what they can feel and retell. Storytelling layers, immersive add-ons, and off-season products turn that shift into higher checks and longer seasons.

+65%

growth in travel spending on experiences since 2019 — versus +12% on things Mastercard Economics Institute

(03)

Economics kill venues, not taste

Most closures trace back to concept and numbers, not the kitchen. Research-grounded concepts with a financial model de-risk the launch before a single wall is painted.

~50%

of new restaurants close within their first five years U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data

Why AI visibility matters

Work that paid off

Off-season repositioning

Off-season repositioning

Hotel & restaurant under one roof

Hard seasonality was the problem. Research pointed to digital nomads; we packaged a dedicated long-stay product with its own landing page, digital funnel, and advertising.

An additional flow of off-season guests that would never have arrived otherwise.

Hostel & bar expansion

Hostel & bar expansion

Existing hotel & restaurant

The owners wanted to expand without knowing how. Market analysis led to a full concept for a hostel with an attached bar: services, functional layout, bar menu, branding, website, launch.

A second revenue stream taken from idea to opening, end to end.

  • Stories in multiple languages, updated without reprints
  • Raises perceived value and conversion through storytelling
  • Works for menus, shops, exhibitions, and tours

Free research: tourism trends & how to apply them

From the research practice international institutions hire — what's shifting in tourism, and what to do about it at your venue.

Fair questions

Where do you work?

Worldwide. The practice grew in Central Asia — markets we also research for international institutions — and the methods travel: research, concepts, and digital products are delivered globally, remotely and on site.

What's in the free tourism trends report?

A working document from our research practice: the tourism and guest-behavior trends we see in the data, and — more usefully — how to apply them to a real hotel or restaurant. No fluff, no gate beyond an email.

Do you work with standalone restaurants, or only hotels?

Both, plus chains, destinations, and cultural venues. A single restaurant might start with a concept or the storytelling menu; a hotel or resort typically starts with research, concept, and the financial model.

Do you sell financial models separately?

We build financial models as part of concept and feasibility work, where they actually change decisions — not as a standalone deliverable. If you only need the numbers verified, book a discovery call and we'll scope it honestly.

What does an engagement cost?

The trends report is free. Everything else is scoped after a discovery call, because a boutique guesthouse and a resort need different depth. You'll get a fixed proposal before any work starts.

Can you grow an existing venue without building anything new?

Often, yes — that's where added-value products shine: immersive experiences, storytelling layers, off-season offers with their own funnels, and add-ons that raise the average check.

What about AI visibility?

It matters — guests increasingly ask AI where to stay and eat — and we cover it with consulting and our product Norly. It has its own page: see AI visibility for hotels & restaurants.

Still deciding? Book a 30-minute discovery call — no deck, just your questions.
